General Health Blood Test

Our General Health Blood Test provides a comprehensive overview of your health by assessing liver and kidney function, cholesterol, diabetes risk, iron levels, Vitamin D and more, with a full practitioner interpretation of your results.

Our General Health Blood Test is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of your overall health and wellbeing. Whether you're looking for reassurance, monitoring your health or investigating symptoms, this profile helps identify potential health concerns and provides valuable insights into your general wellbeing.

The test assesses your liver and kidney function, bone health, cholesterol levels, blood sugar, iron levels and Vitamin D, helping to identify potential issues such as high cholesterol, diabetes risk, vitamin deficiencies and other common health conditions.

Your blood sample is collected through a simple venous blood draw by one of our qualified healthcare professionals, and you'll receive a full written interpretation of your results from one of our experienced practitioners.

What does this blood test include?

This comprehensive profile includes testing for:

  • Full Blood Count (FBC)

  • Liver function

  • Kidney function (Urea & Electrolytes)

  • Blood glucose

  • HbA1c (diabetes and pre-diabetes screening)

For the most accurate cholesterol results, we recommend attending your appointment after fasting where possible. If fasting isn't suitable, you may have a light meal before your appointment. Drinking water is encouraged and will not affect your results. Please continue taking any prescribed medication unless you've been advised otherwise.

Once your laboratory results are available, one of our experienced practitioners will provide a full written interpretation of your results and advise on any appropriate next steps.
