If you think you have impetigo, our pharmacists can assess eligible patients aged 1 year and over and provide NHS advice and treatment where clinically appropriate, helping you access care without the need for a GP appointment.
If you think you have impetigo, you may not need to wait for a GP appointment. Through the NHS Pharmacy First service, our qualified pharmacists can assess impetigo and provide NHS treatment where clinically appropriate.
This service is available for adults and children aged 1 year and over with symptoms of impetigo.
What happens during your consultation?
During your consultation, one of our pharmacists will:
Discuss your symptoms and medical history
Assess the affected area
Confirm whether the Pharmacy First service is suitable
Recommend the most appropriate treatment
Supply NHS medication where clinically appropriate
Refer you to another healthcare professional if needed
