If you've struggled to lose weight through diet and exercise alone, our medically supervised weight management programme using Mounjaro® (tirzepatide) may help you achieve sustainable weight loss while improving your overall health.
At Harley Street Medical, our experienced GPs and Independent Prescribers provide personalised weight management programmes that combine Mounjaro® treatment with ongoing clinical monitoring, lifestyle support and regular follow-up to help you achieve long-term success.
Mounjaro® (tirzepatide) is a once-weekly injectable prescription medicine used for weight management in appropriate adults. It works by mimicking naturally occurring hormones that help regulate appetite, increase feelings of fullness and reduce food intake. It should always be used alongside a healthy diet and increased physical activity.

You may be suitable for treatment if you:
Have a BMI of 30 kg/m² or above.
Have a BMI of 27 kg/m² or above with weight-related health conditions.
Have been unable to achieve sustained weight loss through lifestyle changes alone.
Are committed to making long-term improvements to your diet and physical activity.
A full medical assessment is required before treatment is prescribed, and not everyone will be suitable.
Our comprehensive programme includes:
Initial medical consultation
Full suitability assessment
Blood pressure, weight and BMI assessment
Blood tests where clinically indicated
Prescription of Mounjaro® (if appropriate)
Education on self-injection
Monthly follow-up appointments
Ongoing clinical monitoring
Lifestyle and nutritional advice
Long-term weight management planning
Your clinician will:
Review your medical history.
Discuss previous weight loss attempts.
Assess your current medications.
Screen for contraindications.
Explain the benefits and potential risks of treatment.
Agree a personalised treatment plan if appropriate.
Treatment is only prescribed when it is considered clinically safe and suitable.
Patients may experience:
Significant weight loss
Reduced appetite
Better portion control
Improved blood sugar regulation
Increased motivation to adopt healthier lifestyle habits
Results vary between individuals, and the best outcomes are achieved when medication is combined with dietary changes, regular exercise and ongoing support.
Patient safety is our priority.
Before prescribing Mounjaro®, we may recommend baseline blood tests and will monitor your progress throughout treatment.
You should inform your clinician if you:
Are pregnant or planning pregnancy.
Are breastfeeding.
Have a history of pancreatitis.
Have severe gastrointestinal disease.
Have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2).
Are taking other prescription medicines.
Our clinicians will discuss all potential side effects and monitoring requirements before treatment begins.
